About Ellen Thanheiser

I’m a goal setter and passionate leader and teammate who has committed my time (~1,700 hours to date), gifts, and resources to the Texas for Cancer organization for 2.5 years. I’m proud to mentor the 2017 bike team and sit on the Grants committee with other alumni professionals to allocate much needed cancer funding to worthy cancer research institutes, researchers, and non-profits in the U.S. and Canada. I trained for 18 months with 65 other students to successfully complete the mile bike ride from Austin, TX to Anchorage, AK in Summer 2016 and personally raised over $52K for cancer research. I’m confident my recruiting, interviewing, problem-solving, listening, and team-building skills will make me a great asset to a growing Denver company in HR or Corporate Communication.
