About Ellen Vaughan

Ellen is a committed and passionate fundraising veteran and non profit leader having worked and volunteered in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years. Ellen has led teams in Florida and in New York City with organizations like Saint Andrew’s School, the American Cancer Society, the Armory Art Center and Palm Beach Atlantic University. Currently, the Chief of Development for the Center for Family Services, she specializes in non-profit leadership, annual fund development, major gift development, planned giving, and is the lead for all special events. Ellen is a Trustee at her alma mater, Mercy High School in Middletown, Connecticut and most recently past President for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Palm Beach County Chapter. She is a CFRM from the IUPUI The Fund Raising School Lilly School of Philanthropy. Ellen is a new member of the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Class of 2024 and a member of the Planned Giving Council of Palm Beach County. Ellen is also a public arbitrator and settles disputes in the securities industry. Ellen is a sustainer with the Junior League of the Palm Beaches and is also past President of the Advisory Board for Sacred Heart Catholic School. Ellen is originally from Essex, Connecticut and is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. Ellen is passionate about philanthropy, community impact, law, art history, culture, travel, and Golden Retrievers. Ellen resides in Delray Beach and is the proud mother of Lauren Reilly Vaughan.
