About Ellie Baldwin

New to the sport and exercise industry but I am eager to get involved and make a difference. After studying Sport and Exercise Science, it was made clear to me that I wanted to help make a difference to people's lives through exercise. I have always been passionate for helping people and I have previously applied this in my roles in hospitality, consistently striving for the best outcome. I hope to continue this passion in a healthcare setting where I can really make a change. I am excited to apply this passion later this year when I start working with CP+R, as a Cardiac Coach. I have recently volunteered with NU Foundation and Durham County Cricket club which allowed to me work with athletes and aid with their progression in the sport. These experiences enhanced many of my transferable skills which I will be able to apply in any sport and exercise setting. Engaging with the community is an area which I hope to develop. I would like to get involved with ISEH and the BACPR to continually learn and progress in my field. Outside of my academic studies, I thoroughly enjoy engaging with a range of physical activities including weight lifting and running. I previously practiced Chinese kickboxing, achieving my black belt after 7 years of training, which I hope to continue in the near future. I continue to strive towards being the best in my field, both in and out of my career progression.
