About Ellie Bonner

Passionate Assistant Director of Sixth form and teacher after maternity leave trying to find that right balance of work and family, previously head of Department and Quality Nominee with a range of numerous skills; strong communicator, self-motivated, organisational, negotiation, problem solving, teaching, reflection, resilience, initiative, good judgement, leadership, teamwork and collaboration. Completed the London Marathon 2023. I am a well driven, independent woman, who likes new challenges in life, where I can strive and grow as a person. I have had several experiences in life so far that has enabled me to become the person I am today. I strive for a fast paced environment, where focus is key, I have built a great eye for detail throughout my career. A teacher who is full of passion for changing the classroom experience allowing students to become an individual and part of society, I also push students to become more independent with their learning along their journey of education. I feel diversity in schools is key so a keen ambassador for LGBTQ within schools, out and proud within a school is key to normalise the stigma attached and deters negativity, all learnt from my personal journey. I am a specialised Business and Economics teacher of both key stage 4/5, with other subjects taught.
