About Ellie Orr

I’m a senior at Florida State University double-majoring Hospitality and Tourism Management and French Language with a Minor in General Business. I'm currently looking for post-graduate opportunities in the travel and tourism industry that allow me to connect people to places through integrated marketing and communications. This summer, I was an International Marketing Intern on the IMC team at MMGY Global, which gave me experience in evaluating marketing campaign performance, pitching public relations content, and working with clients in the hospitality and tourism industry. Noticing a gap in our college that I felt I could fill, I recently founded the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International at FSU and currently serve as President of the organization. I also recently concluded my term as Chapter President for Alpha Phi Fraternity, for which I managed an executive council of ten, oversaw all chapter events and initiatives, coordinated communication with campus partners and my advisor team, and established goals and structure for the chapter. Under my leadership, our chapter was awarded with the Outstanding Member Experience, Excellence in Philanthropy Innovation, and Outstanding Potential Member Outreach awards from our national organization. Over the years at FSU, I've had the chance to study abroad twice and currently work as a Brand Ambassador for FSU International Programs, facilitating guest experiences and working on strategic marketing. In summer of 2026, I'll be working for the department as a Program Assistant in Montreux, Switzerland, and am looking for full time roles when I return to the States in August. Additionally, I’m proficient in French, and super passionate about travel.
