About Elling Lin
I am a third year Finance Student, aspiring to become a CPA! My two years of experience working in student group, Toronto Met Accounting, allowed me to connect with many CPA professionals and aspiring CPA students. I was able to learn about the strenuous yet rewarding journey of a CPA which opens many doors and possibilities in business. Personally for me, I enjoy Financial Analysis as I am able to create value and impact with my skills. During case competitions, I was able to contribute to my teams by performing tasks such as financial statement analysis, revenue forecasting, and valuations, which allowed us to create the most lucrative solution to the problem. Hence, whether it be financial analysis, assurance or consulting which all peaks my interest, I aspire to attain a CPA designation which would allow me to develop and reinforce my competencies, excelling in my future workplace!
