About Elliot Forrest

3d Generalist with a background in teaching. Strong professional with a Bachelor's degree from Falmouth University in Animation & Visual Effects. My current role requires a wide range of creative skills and solutions to Animation projects including; Animation, modelling, lighting, rendering and most other steps along the pipeline for stills and moving image. My main tools are Maya, Substance Painter, After Effects and Fusion for compositing at the moment but when specific software is required for a job, I’m really adept at learning on the fly. I’m a believer in right tool for the job and not so much trying to make one work, if better solutions exist somewhere else. I have worked on a wide array of projects some of which include creating characters for animation, animating sizzles and performative pieces, 2d motion graphics videos, scene composition lighting and rendering, and a whole host of other fun things. I’m currently happy and employed but am always keen to hear of new opportunities and broaden my experience in the field.
