Background
About Elliot Goodwin
Born in Macclesfield, England, I moved to the United States in 2013 on a soccer scholarship. I am a hardworking, self-motivated learner who thrives in challenging environments and consistently seeks positive, growth-driven outcomes. In 2017, I relocated to St. Louis to complete a collegiate internship with former USL club Saint Louis FC and youth powerhouse Saint Louis Scott Gallagher. This experience led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Business at McKendree University, where I also served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Women’s Soccer Program.Following the completion of my graduate degree, I joined the Missouri Military Academy, where I spent four years as the Head Soccer Coach while also serving as the Activities and Recreation Coordinator, overseeing athletic and extracurricular programming.I am now excited to be part of the Lou Fusz Athletic organization, coaching at the MLS NEXT 2 level, and continuing to develop high-level players in a competitive environment. Additionally, I am proud to be a member of the Men’s Soccer Coaching Staff at Lindenwood University for the 2025–26 OVC season.
