Background

About Elliot Sumner

At Audinate, I design the information dynamics for the entire technology stack, from silicon and firmware to cloud APIs. I have transitioned the organization from manual, document-centric workflows to a modern, scalable ecosystem involving web publishing, structured content, and intelligent tooling. My remit extends far beyond writing; I act as a cross-functional consultant on product delivery, quality pipelines, and Customer Experience (CX). My goal is to reduce friction in product onboarding and accelerate engineering knowledge transfer by making technical content discoverable and interactive. Most recently, I have focused on applying LLMs and embeddings to enterprise knowledge. I successfully engineered a Python ingestion pipeline to transform legacy documentation into a vector-ready semantic knowledge base for RAG integration, effectively "teaching" our documentation to speak the language of AI.I operate remotely from Queensland, maintaining a critical line of communication with the Sydney office to ensure their biscuit supply remains within acceptable operational tolerances.Areas of Capability Information Architecture & Strategy* Knowledge Systems & Governance* Structured Content & Taxonomies* Operational Process Design* Product Delivery WorkflowsAI & Technical Implementation* Intelligent Search & Semantic Retrieval* AI-Assisted Documentation (RAG/LLM)* Python & Automation Pipelines* Technical EcosystemsUser Experience & Delivery* Developer Experience (DX)* API & SDK Documentation* Web Publishing & Multimedia* UI/UX Consultation
