Diabetes plagues our modern world and it gets worse every year. Focusing on the molecular genetic, functional and cellular basis of pancreatic islet biology can help understand this growing health crisis. I am passionate about exploring islet cell molecular genetics through innovative techniques, next generation ‘omics and state-of-the-art bioinformatics. Currently I am pursuing my PhD at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes and I am open to chatting about any opportunity that allows me to do the deep dive into the data or could have an impact in the lives of people with diabetes.
