About Elliott Magee
I have a keen interest in neuroprosthetics design and control. As a PhD student in the Aspire Centre for Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology at UCL, I am working on a self-led research project to realise a novel design for a minimally-invasive brain computer interface. As a research associate, I worked on the design and construction of both continuous-wave and time of flight near infrared imaging systems. I also designed bespoke medical devices as a consultant engineer. My specialisations include 3D printing and microelectrode array manufacture. I have done many public engagement events, including a talk for the Pint of Science festival.
