About Elliott Moore

I am highly organised, motivated, and have a positive attitude with a drive to succeed in all my endeavours. Productivity is one of my best qualities having received numerous awards at secondary school level and then sixth form too. For example, House Sport Excellence and Departmental commendations as well as the subject award after finishing my A levels for Sport subsidiary diploma. My approach is hard working and structured, I am someone who always effectively manages time and plans to reach the best possible outcome. I worked as a Residential Assistant at University Halls during the 2nd year of my Degree. This role enabled me to gain experience of working with a wide range of individuals in different and often complex situations. By doing this, I was able to work in difficult, challenging situations and think on my feet. Working for Tesco since I was 16 years old has benefitted me greatly. Starting off in a large store working in replenishment for a few years taught me good communication and customer service skills. Since September of 2019 I have moved to a Metro store. It has benefited me immensely as I have accepted more responsibilities and gained the skills to manage and control stock levels, whilst furthering my desire to put the consumer first. Currently, I am teaching Geography at a school in Leicester. I recently graduated from the University of Derby studying Geography & Sports and Exercise studies (joint honours). I chose to combine two subject areas that I had an interest and good academic success with before. Studying a joint honours degree has allowed me to work in a flexible manner and combine different elements across different fields of study. I feel as though it has also given me knowledge, skills and an enthusiastic attitude required to excel. I like working with people from all walks of life and my passion for Sport and Geography leads me into wanting to pursue a career where I can use skills from both disciplines.
