About Elliott Wallace

I’m not perfect, but I’m trying to get as close as I can! - I currently work as presenter/producer at Eastside Radio, in Sydney. Here I have proven myself to be a vital member of the workforce, presenting my own show which is focussed on my mini-columns that I write throughout the week is my personal highlight of the internship. I have also been granted the opportunity to act as producer for a radio show that celebrates the neurologically diverse - an opportunity that offers great satisfaction and pride. At Eastside I am also on hand to assist in pretty much any and every technological cog in the system of up-keeping an immensely popular station. As well as this, a personal point of pride is being trusted to present the stations flagship show - The Album of the Week. - Since 2017 I have proven to myself, employers and my local community that I am an individual with a great sense of devotion when it comes to working hard, this key skill in life has allowed me to enroll and progress in my dream University degree, Geography BSc, the hands on, analytical approach that this degree has taught me has allowed for clarity to be gained in the realms of my prospective future. This clarity has enabled me to pursue a career path of meaningful impact via working in a Geographical based sector. This, despite being a major role in my life and one that fulfills my own sense of accomplishment, is not my only passion, another key part of ‘Elliott Wallace’ is journalism. This was kickstarted during my secondary education when an opportunity arose for me to present in front of a large hall of lecturers, astrophysical scientists, and Tim Peake, thus developing into my creation of a social media brand and more recently becoming a radio host - come columnist and producer. These are not passions I aim to ever lose in life. Much of my prior professional life has been within hospitality in York, I have excelled in each role I have been tasked with, from being a KA, to waiting in the Beer Garden to assisting management in any way I can. The vital skills I have learnt shall be applied in any way possible to my future ventures - coupled with my plethora of personal attributes, I envisage no role too ‘out there’ for me to commit 100% of my time and energy towards.
