About Ellis Addleman
I am a 2025 graduate from the University of Vermont in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources with a BS in Applied Ecology and a minor in Geospatial Technologies. During my time at UVM, I acted as the Unoccupied Aircraft Systems Intern at the Spatial Analysis Lab. In this role I conducted multiple UAS missions and produced deliverables for a wide range of projects and clients. In the summer of 2024, I was a Conservation Intern at the Kenai Watershed Forum in Soldotna, Alaska. Through this position, I gained valuable experience in field and lab work while engaging with the local community through various riparian ecosystem restoration projects. I am currently on the Conservation Team at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail, Colorado. I am passionate about combining my interests in ecology, field work, and research, and I hope to continue fostering these skills going forward. I am especially interested in Alpine Ecology, and I look forward to applying my knowledge fostered throughout my academic and professional career in future positions.
