About Ellis Hudson

Youth Advocate | Leadership Developer | Community Builder Passionate about empowering Black and Brown youth through healing, leadership development, and outdoor experiences. With hands-on experience coordinating and leading youth programs, I specialize in creating transformative opportunities that foster growth, resilience, and self-confidence. At the Crowley Foundation, I support youth in discovering their voice and potential through mentorship and leadership initiatives. Recently, I coordinated and led a snowboarding event, managing logistics, transportation, and equipment, while acting as both instructor and chaperone—ensuring a safe, empowering experience for all participants. My work is rooted in a deep belief in love as a guiding principle for personal and collective growth. Inspired by the teachings of bell hooks and my lived experiences, I strive to cultivate spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving their dreams. Skilled in program coordination, youth mentorship, and leadership development, I am committed to building meaningful connections and driving impactful change.
