About Elly Engstrom
I have 13 years of surgical RN experience. I have fulfilled numerous roles such as CNC, acting NUM and afterhours hospital supervising within this timeframe. I competed my post graduate certificate in Stomal therapy in 2013. My knowledge and skills in stomas and wounds are used within my role as stoma nurse within the private hospital sector. Since 2016 I have assisted with teaching nursing students within the university bachelor degree for 2 universities. In 2022 I also commenced the role of a community nurse to deliver a clinical trial drug to UC and CD patients. Administrating and educating patients in receiving this medication to treat and manage their disease. I enjoy nursing and in particular surgical care, colorectal and Acute and chronic wounds.
