About Elly Gray

Home is where the heart is. However, it is often an arduous process to get into one. My name is Elly Gray and my goal is to help borrowers achieve their dream of home ownership. I am a leader in the mortgage industry with 15+ years of management experience in the retail mortgage production channel. As the producing sales manager at Ameris Bank Mortgage I am adept at using my skills in both jumbo and conventional loans to assist a wide scope of clients and recruits. I have experience in explaining our competitive interest rates and loan programs to every type of person, from the first-time home buyer to the corporate executive. I prioritize communicating to each individual’s needs- no two clients are the same. Many unique issues arise when trying to qualify for a loan. I recently had a client from South Africa who was having trouble getting a loan because his income was based out of his home country. He had previously tried multiple lending offices without any luck. He is now able to live near his children and grandchildren thanks to the loan we were able to offer him. My favorite part about my job is that I get to utilize my skills as a creative problem solver to help people. My experience in the business affords me the know-how and freedom to be creative within the labyrinth of mortgage guidelines. Sharing my knowledge in the field is important to me.
