About Elly Harada

My name is Eleanor Harada and throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to have worked with many talented and exceptional individuals and teams. During my career journey with Morgan Stanley, I have had the opportunity to work in a number of capacities ranging from Front Office Equity Support and FIX client onboarding to leading new initiatives in the Listed Derivatives domain across global markets, but primarily focusing on Asia. I lead projects covering exchange driven initiatives, business enhancement opportunities, risk reduction and regulatory goals with exposure to a host of different technologies, business lines and people both internal and external to the firm. I am a strong believer of Diversity and Inclusion, and am dedicated in making technology in Japan a competitive but fun place to work. I co-lead the Japan Technology Mentoring committee, Career conversations working group, am a core Women in Tech member, as well as the Japan Technology D&I committee. I feel honoured to lead various initiatives in the firm to grow our future talent.
