In 2002, I joined Alison Hayes (UK), a major High Street womenswear supplier (to Debenhams, Arcadia, Tesco) and for the next 4 years supported the CFO in setting up an operational HR function, whilst completing my MA in HRM. Two degrees later and with supply chain and manufacturing experience (Romania) moved to the Austin Reed Head Office on Regent Street to get a flavour of retail HR and stayed until late 2007. There I was a key member of the HR team providing advisory HR support to its Head Office brands (then Austin Reed and CC). In late 2007, I joined Coast as HR Advisor (then part of Mosaic then Aurora Fashions) and within 6 months was promoted to HR Partner - Coast. Over the last 6 years I have been instrumental in a number of business-wide projects including project managing the recruitment for our Flagship on Oxford Street in July 2012 which has performed and delivered some great results. In 2013 we undertook a template review across all our stores and working with the team successfully created new templates with increased flexibility. More recently and since the end of 2013, I lead on employee engagement, including the design, development and launch of a global employee survey and recruitment for the brand. I joined the Ted team in 2014 managing and overseeing the Coach Station (HR) UK Team with HR operations, whilst working closely with Ted's Coach to deliver the HR game plan. In 2017 I was promoted to Head of People UK & Europe and took on the EU business. I left Ted in April 2020 to join the world of consulting and freelancing. Recent clients include retail, coffee houses and real estate/property management companies.
