As a registered nurse with 40 years of combined nursing from certified nurse assistant, license practical nurse, registered nurse with a master’s degree in health care and nursing administration, I feel that I would be a great fit for management positions My experiences in nursing include Director of Nursing, Nurse manager. hospital OB/nursery, orthopedic, ER, telemetry, med/surg, geriatrics, hospice care, rehab, OB/GYN clinics and military clinics, a variety that enhances my abilities to promote positive patient experience, quality clinical outcomes and patient safety with a positive attitude with your staff. I’m proficient in the nursing process of evaluating, planning and implementing care plans to standards and guidelines. Along with my military leadership and quality assurance experience, in which I was the health clinic manager of 15 clinical staff, and worked alongside the physician assistants and physicians. My last 5 years, I provided senior leadership with three medical units of 100 members each. I have mentored many nursing professionals, completed a preceptor course, and understand that there is a lot of gray area that one must understand to create a cohesive team of professionals. I have nursing leadership as a charge nurse on the transitional care unit and assistant manager at skilled facility. My strengths are organization and communications skills.
