About Elma Dijkerman
After finishing my MSc for computer science with a thesis on formal specification languages I found a nice first job at PTT Research, mainly on formal languages, but also on conformance testing. I moved on to the Dutch Railways and became consultant on train management systems and train safety systems. Here I worked on requirements capturing and later as safety engineer and safety manager. My main focus has been on ERTMS infra projects in the Netherlands. Special interests: investigation on railway accidents, methods for safety engineer (e.g. the STAMP method from Leveson) and human failures.
