About Elodia Chavez

I have worked for non-profit agencies for the last 13 years. I desire to give back to the community and work with families and children who need help connecting/integrating back into the community. Family preservation is important, but sometimes that is not possible. Hence, helping families remain or stay associated with their families of origin is the next best step for the children and families involved. Assisting peers to find their best selves and building them into our future leaders by helping shape and grow them is also important, as they are our future. I am a certified TBRI Educator, Circle of Security Trainer, and Nurtured Heart Approach practitioner, which enables me to deliver evidence-based interventions that promote attachment, resilience, and healing through trauma-informed care. Educating caregivers on how to work with themselves and children that they may need help with and assisting with sobriety by first assisting the client in making sense of their sense of self-worth and using that as their foundation as they are introduced to various different skills to cope with their sobriety. I also have skills in electronic medical records, motivational interviewing, event planning, and customer service. My mission is to empower families with the tools and resources to work with their children and partners healthily and respectfully.
