Join the international trade adventure with SODISE! With 40 years' experience in importing from Europe and Asia, SODISE is embarking on BtoB commercial expansion beyond the borders of France, and has recently created a new export department! It has been established, run by three passionate people, with the clear aim of developing the network of sales agents and distributor partners around the world. Who is SODISE? Society of Distribution and Services is your multi-specialist supplier of tools, equipment and consumables for professionals mainly in the automotive, HGV, agricultural and public works sectors. Initially wholesaler, SODISE has evolved into a distributor of partner brands (Schneider, Piusi, Compac, HPX, Schumacher, Lincoln Electric), a brand creator (Karzhan, Drakkar, Stilker, Green Plaisance), and an assembler and manufacturer (diesel storage and refuelling tanks, technical aerosols for workshops, eco-powerful cleaning products). The SODISE team, which has been constantly expanding over the years, is bursting with innovative ideas and will be offering even more new products. Some key figures Our catalogue includes 31 product families, totalling a range of items distributed in nearly sales outlets. To date, we are present in almost 20 countries abroad. All this is orchestrated by a team of 180 employees, including 3 sales agents in Europe and 1 sales agent in Africa. Who am I? Having worked in the purchasing department for around ten years, in 2023 I chose to take up the challenge and join the SODISE export team to develop this new facet of the company. It's a big challenge, because I have to structure and set up the tools for this new department: analytical dashboards, export formalities specific to each country, interdepartmental coordination to meet the needs of the export department, etc. I analyse the target markets, then deploy our sales development strategy in Eastern Europe, Portugal and Major Export, using the full range of expertise: marketing, communication & sales techniques. I manage and coordinate a sales agent in Portugal and another in Africa. What are our challenges? Developing our business internationally, and consequently expanding our network of sales agents and distributor partners. Join us on this exciting adventure!🤝
