About Eloise Vanstone

Skilled Editor (and Producer) with over 8 years of experience in factual television, spanning every area of the industry, from development and casting to production and post-production. Most recently, I produced the Netflix series 'Depp V Heard', which ranked #1 in 88 countries. In addition to producing, I edited the final episode of this three-part series. I also co-produced and served as Assistant Editor for the BAFTA-nominated Netflix feature documentary 'The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes', where I was responsible for cutting the original rough cut that secured the commission. Though my background spans development, production and post-production - editing is the area where I feel creatively at home and I’m driven to further grow my skillset. I thrive on crafting narratives that are cinematic, captivating and emotionally resonant, and I’m excited by the challenge of finding fresh, inventive ways to merge footage and archive into a seamless, engaging, and entertaining experience. Since it was founded in 2019, I was a key member of Empress Films, contributing significantly to both the production and development of our projects. My involvement has been instrumental across a majority of our developments and productions, from initial concept through to post-production, as well as in the day-to-day operations of the company. I have edited numerous development tapes that have led to successful commissions and have crafted rough cuts for a wide range of productions. Prior to my role at Empress Films, I gained valuable experience at Pulse Films, where I progressed from Emma Cooper’s Assistant to roles including Production Assistant, Casting Researcher, and Development Researcher. Throughout my career, I have contributed to various notable projects, including 'Who Killed Jill Dando','DIANA','The Black Cop'(BAFTA),'The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann','Bikram', and 'No Greater Law'.
