About Elora Webb

At 16, I found myself embarking on a global odyssey with a crew of eco-pirates, on a mission to safeguard whales. From the infamous Cove in Taiji, Japan, to the Southern Ocean and the shores of the Danish Faroe Islands, I dedicated myself to the protection of our marine ecosystems. Documenting my adventures through blogging, I amassed a following exceeding (not too shabby considering Instagram was still on the horizon!). But how did a globe-trotting teen activist evolve into a project manager for a mid-size video production company in Bellevue, Washington? Trading my steel-toed boots for a Master's degree in Communication Leadership and Digital Media from the University of Washington—I delved into content development and the impact of emerging technologies on organizational communication. As Mighty Media's Development Manager, I get to spend my days problem-solving in event and mass-media production for brands and organizations across all sectors. Collaborating closely with our senior leadership team, I develop strategies for business growth and brand partnerships. We thrive on crafting Mighty experiences! Off the clock, my conservationist spirit still burns brightly. I proudly serve on the Board of Directors for Sarvey Wildlife Care Center, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife across Washington State. I am a beekeeper, and currently transforming our yard into a native-plant sanctuary for local wildlife, inspired by Homegrown National Park and Douglas Tallamy's 'Nature's Best Hope'.
