With 18 years of experience in commercial interior architecture and design, Elsa has a deep understanding of the needs, challenges, and opportunities of the industry. She leverages her expertise in cross-platform development and integration, design specifications and custom workflows to create solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Prior to joining Source, Elsa was an accomplished Design Technology Specialist, Commercial Interior Designer, and an Associate at IA Interior Architects. Specializing in Reality Capture, Analytics, Workplace App and Global Guidelines Platform Development, Elsa served as a liaison for client success, providing internal support to 500+ employees and customizing SharePoint sites and apps. As a commercial interior designer, she successfully delivered +10 million square feet of design solutions for renowned Global brands, such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Nordstrom. Elsa has demonstrated leadership through roles in IA committees, leading the firm's Associates internationally, and as the President of IIDA Oregon Chapter, where she led and coordinated Event Planning for Commercial Interior Design Professionals and Students, Leadership Training, Sponsorship Fundraisers, Continuing Education Forums, Chapter-wide Communications, a Western Regional Student Design Competition, and co-authored a State of the Industry survey. She advocated for the legislation and recognition of commercial interior designers in the State of Oregon. Ms. Long is also a School Board Director in Gladstone School District 115. Elsa is passionate about creating equitable and inclusive value and impact through design technology, innovation, and sustainability. She has been recognized with several awards for special services, emerging professional excellence, and design innovation. She is also the author of a children's book,"Give the Moon a Tickle!", which was inspired by the beauty of her home landscapes in the Pacific Northwest.
