About Elsa Lee

I work at the nexus of environmental sustainability, education and social justice as a researcher and an educator in Higher Education. I write, research and teach on these questions I have researched on and led UKRI funded research projects. I am the link convenor of the Environmental Sustainability Education Research network at EERA https://eera-ecer.de/networks/30-environmental-and-sustainability-education-research-eser which has 450 from members across Europe and beyond. I am committed to making research count through linking it to practice. I am executive editor of the practitioner journal Environmental Education for the charity, the National Association of Environmental Education https://naee.org.uk/about-naee/ I also convene a reading and research collective entitled Education and Environmental Justice. EEJ has been active for 4 years, and centres on the intersection between Education, Social Justice and the Arts through its members that include artists, doctoral students, postdoctoral scholars and established academics. EEJ is funded by Anglia Ruslin University's Sustainable Futures Initiative.
