About Elset Venter

With seven years’ Engineering experience, four of which are in the Energy and Wastewater sectors, Elset Venter is a qualified Chemical & Process Engineer within the Research & Technology Department at Sasol. Here she executes and supports design, engineering, and the development and/or improvement of processes in accordance with established engineering principles – satisfying business and project requirements in the wastewater field. Elset first operated as a Process Controller at Sasol, before she participated in their prestigious Graduate Development Program – which she completed a year ahead of schedule. From here she was appointed as Process Engineer (Grade 1) within the Technical Support & Operation Department, after which she progressed to her most recent role in Research & Technology Department. A highly professional operative with project management experience, Elset is skilled in consultative interactions with team leaders and other relevant stakeholders – fluently navigating collaborative relationships to reach project goals. Working well independently and as part of a team, she devises process improvement implementations while leading and working alongside a range of multidisciplinary professionals. Adaptable in an ever-changing work environment, Elset diligently prioritises her workload to ensure timely completion of all functions without compromising on the quality of work she is known for.
