About Elsie Elder

I've had the pleasure of progressing in the publishing industry over the last year. From Intern to Editorial Assistant to Editor, I have become familiar with, and excelled in, all aspects of book management. This includes writing jacket copy, AI sheets, working with internal departments as well as authors and distributors, and overseeing the publishing process for several publications. Over the last year, I have assisted with and solely edited several manuscripts across multiple genres, including children's fiction, picture books, satire, thrillers, narrative memoir, young adult, health and wellbeing, poetry, and plays. With a working knowledge of the industry, the ability to balance thematic and technical elements of any given manuscript, and the knowledge gained from my Masters degree, I have a firm grasp of editorial work and am excited to further develop my career.
