About Elva Castillo

With over two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant at UCLA Health, I have developed and implemented new team strategies, contributed to the goals of the organization, and demonstrated interpersonal skills and excellent work ethic. I have a BA in Communications and a customer service mindset that enables me to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and handle complex administrative tasks. One of my core competencies is travel management and planning, which I have applied to coordinate and arrange travel for executives, faculty, staff, and guests of UCLA Health. I have also managed purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and budgets related to travel expenses. In addition, I have supported the organization with other duties, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, creating reports, and maintaining records. My positive attitude, strong time management skills, and attention to detail have helped me to perform my role efficiently and professionally.
