About Elvis Makuthi

I am a service reliability engineer with over seven years of experience in the telecommunications industry, where I have developed and deployed solutions that enhance the performance, security, and scalability of online systems and services. Currently, I work at Safaricom PLC, the leading mobile network operator in Kenya, where I leverage my expertise in monitoring platforms, such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana, to ensure optimal service delivery and customer satisfaction. In addition, I am an experienced Microsoft Power Platform developer, with hands-on experience in creating low-code applications, workflows, and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. I have successfully implemented several projects that improved efficiency, collaboration, and automation across different departments and functions, such as courier services, project tracking, document approval, and benefits realization. I also have skills in full-stack web and mobile development, using technologies such as React, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Kotlin. I am always eager to learn new tools and frameworks that can help me solve complex problems and innovate with technology.
