Ely Sandler is an American economist working at the intersection of academia, public policy and the private sector. He focuses on energy finance, environmental economics, and outer space. In his academic work, Ely teaches clean energy finance and outer space policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. His course "Financing the Clean Energy Transition" is the Kennedy School's most over-subscribed class, and his research has been adapted by governments and international institutions such as the World Bank.
