About Elys Sanchez
For the past 8 years, I have been working in the Office of the Prosecutor, Services Section. I started in 2006 as a Disclosure Search Assistant where I had the opportunity to work very close to the prosecution teams, providing them support in the management of evidence repositories and contributing of the identification of disclosure materials to be provided to other legal participants as part of the Office legal obligations. In 2009, I was recruited for the position of Database Coordinator. This is a more complex role, in which we provide support for a wide set of technical tools and to different business units in the OTP. The main challenge is to ensure that the disclosure process and related sub processes are done in a smooth way, respecting all legal aspects (e.g. confidentiality, redactions, time lines) and legal provisions (i.e. eCourt Protocol).
