Hi there! My name is Elysa Flores and I am a junior at the University of Texas at Austin, where I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, with a minor in Wealth Management. Throughout my academic journey, I sought to find a career path that aligns with my interests and strengths. I take pleasure in quantitative analysis and applying a technical approach to problem-solving, while also valuing human interaction and connection. Wealth management offers the perfect blend of both! I aspire to become an advisor and go on to establish my own RIA firm, with a primary focus on empowering women and other underrepresented groups. I firmly believe that financial literacy is part of the key to unlocking a world of boundless opportunities, free from the constraints of circumstance. My goal is to make a positive impact on others' lives so that they can live in the present and pursue what fulfills them most.I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to leverage the knowledge and skills I have acquired throughout my academic journey as I transition into the professional world upon my graduation in December 2024.
