For being an introvert in my personal life, I have always gravitated towards professional roles that give me the opportunity to engage with, lead, mentor, and support people. I guess that’s the balance of life. I have a deep passion for bringing consistency, organization, clarity, and enthusiasm in all that I do, which has made my current and former roles in various management and leadership sectors so rewarding. My role as a Human Resources Manager has been a long time coming. I have participated in various aspects of human resources since my Super Target days, however, I never thought of taking the plunge and devoting my professional career to HR until I was given the opportunity to do just that at Angela Adams Consulting. I take immense pride in all that I oversee, assist with, and lead within the HR department, as everything that I do is not only impactful to the company, but also our greatest resource – our people. I’m best known for not only seeing, but also understanding and making team members feel valued, after all, isn’t that what we’re all looking for? When I am not working, I am forever chasing after another degree, certification, or feather in my cap; as a lifelong learner and chronic overachiever, I strive to always know enough to be dangerous in all situations. And if for some reason I am not buried in a textbook, case study, or PDF, you can find me pouring my heart and soul into an ECHL hockey game or partnering with my local animal shelter as a foster provider and adoption volunteer.
