About Elyssa Hofgard
I am pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology funded by the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF). I graduated in June 2022 with a M.S. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University, and I received my B.S. in physics with honors from Stanford in June 2021. My passions include data science, educational equity, inclusivity within STEM, and effective scientific communication. In the future, I hope to synthesize my love for science, teaching, and research in either academia or industry.
