About Elyssa Sanchez

I graduated top ten percent academically among all students in my college at Illinois State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a Special Education Letter of Approval capable to teach from birth to 2nd grade. I have the experiences and knowledge to support all students. I have participated in a year-long student teaching program, professional development school, in a kindergarten classroom that had created the foundation to allow me to create deeper, meaningful relationships with students and add to my development in kindergarten. I have started my first two years of my teaching career as a Private Kindergarten Teacher at Primrose School of Plainfield. While teaching kindergarten at Primrose, I operate whole and small group lessons, with the ability to work one-on-one with students to encourage children’s natural curiosity through play-based and inclusive learning. In my first year of teaching at Primrose, I received the school award, Apple of Our Eye, for going above and beyond to educate students I am an incredibly passionate Early Childhood Teacher who loves to learn alongside my students.
