About Emad Abdallah

I am a senior incident response at Ascension, one of the largest healthcare organizations in the US, where I apply my network and security skills and certifications to investigate and resolve escalated security incidents using advanced tools and techniques. With the help of SEIM tools such as Xsoar and Chronicle, I determine the root cause and the validity of the incidents, and leverage Cylance's technology to block or whitelist malicious software based on their hash values. I also maintain and monitor Tanium endpoint management and security on devices, and use Tanium Question builder to gather information and insight on the network status and performance. I have an associate's degree in Information Technology from Macomb Community College, which I completed in May 2022, and my bachelor from WGU, which has provided me with the foundational knowledge and skills to pursue my passion for network security. I also hold multiple certifications in network and security domains, such as CISSP, CCNA, CYSA+ A+, Network+, and Security+, which demonstrate my proficiency and expertise in these areas. Before joining Ascension, I gained valuable experience in network and desktop support roles at SAIC and Valeo, where I configured and supported Cisco devices, managed and troubleshooted McAfee Policy agent and Drive Encryption, and resolved various connectivity and performance issues. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to enhance my capabilities and contribute to the security and efficiency of the organization.
