About Emad Soliman

Since my youth, I have always been fascinated by programming. The first language I learned was Action Script 2.0 at the age of 11, and since then, I have never stopped seeking to learn new work techniques and new programming languages. My goal is to gain professional experience, develop my autonomy, learn new work techniques, and improve my decision-making in crisis situations. During me years in college, I became the treasurer for Animorency and the Montmorency Games Club (CJM). With this role, I learned to improve my teamwork, stress management, and quick adaptation skills. I also participated as a presenter at the science fair at St-Maxime High School, which helped me develop my communication and customer service skills. I have six years of professional experience as a software developer at 2020 Designs, now named Cyncly, in Laval. During this time, I worked on developing front-end web applications using modules such as Webpack, React, Typescript, Backbone, JQuery, and Underscore. I also maintained legacy full-stack web applications and developed backend web applications using NodeJS. My work involved RESTful API communications between front-end and back-end applications, as well as deploying web applications on Amazon and Azure cloud services via Azure DevOps. As a hobby, I explore GIT repositories and try to learn the code behind programs that interest me, modifying them to suit my personal needs. Additionally, I enjoy finding issues in codes, fixing, and improving them. The position described as a debugging team is the one that interested me the most, as analyzing and repairing programs is a skill I would like to significantly improve in my field and in my hobbies. Furthermore, I place great importance on the ability to read and understand code written by someone else.
