About Eman Attia

Eman attia is associate Professor of Accounting and finance, college of Business Administration, University of Business and Technology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She Holds CPA certification and Fellowship in recognition of attainment against the Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.She previously worked as Vice Dean for Training, Community Services and Sustainable Development, Arab Academy for Science & Technology and Maritime, Cairo, Egypt. Further, she is managing and promoting accounting education towards the development of the accounting profession and human capital, through academic programs, as well as postgraduate programs of PhD, and Master of Accountancy. She earned Ph.D. degree from Huddersfield University, UK, 2020, she also earned Ph.D. degree from Cairo University, Egypt 2016, and Master of Accounting from Cairo University. Her current research focuses on disclosure quality and financial reporting, management accounting in emerging economies, corporate governance, risk management, Islamic banking, earnings management, capital structure, dividend policy, financial inclusion, sustainability, gender diversity, and auditing issues. She has published many article which had worldwide audience and numerous articles in leading international journals including Future Business Journal, Sustainability, Risks, Cogent of Business and Management, Spanish Journal of economic and finance, and Cogent of Economics and Finance. Dr. Attia has experience of more than 16 years in the field of teaching, training and consulting in petroleum accounting, cost & managerial accounting, accounting information systems. She is reviewer for several journals, including the in international Scoups/ SJR/WoS such as Gender in Management: an International Journal, Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, Journal of Accounting, Finance, and Risk management, Cogent of Business and Management, Cogent of economic and Finance, Euro-Med Journal of Business.
