About Eman Ezekiel

I am a Maldivian multidisciplinary artist and digital designer currently based in Naarm, seeking to create in a way that encompasses all of my identity. I use portrait photography, writing, digital design, and sometimes a combination of disciplines, to speak on personal lived experience. I am also deeply committed to actively learning and practicing anti-racist, anti-capitalist, decolonial frameworks within my work. I am further interested engaging in collaboration and codesign practices in all aspects of my work. I am incredibly passionate and committed to whatever I choose to pursue. I have a varied background in digital design, digital marketing, public relations, and administration across various industries; mainly hospitality and sports, and now in the mental healthcare sector. My work experience, although wide-ranging, strongly intersects with each other, and allow me a well-informed approach to all that I do.
