About Eman Zafar

With over 13 years of experience in the financial industry, I have honed my skills in management, financial acumen, and strategic thinking. As a Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President at Allied Bank Limited, I have successfully led and motivated teams, reported performance metrics to senior leadership, and advised on impactful changes. I have also earned the JAIBP certification, demonstrating my proficiency in banking and financial services. In addition to my financial expertise, I have a passion for sustainable development and education. For four years, I have worked as an English Language Teacher, preparing students for the IELTS test, an internationally recognized assessment of English proficiency developed and run by the British Council in partnership with IDP Education and Cambridge Assessment English. I have taught various aspects of the language, such as spoken English, analytical reasoning, creative writing, comprehension, and composition. Also served as the distinguished “English Editor of The Literary Society” at the University of the Punjab, contributing to the intellectual tapestry of the institution through a refined command of language and editorial finesse. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at University of Vigo, Spain, where I am researching on Leadership Styles. My goal is to provide valuable insights for evidence-based policy-making and play a pivotal role in shaping a more sustainable future for our planet.
