As a Software Engineer, I specialize in architecting and developing scalable, high-performance backend systems. My passion is solving complex problems with clean, efficient code—whether it's building a next-generation AI pipeline from scratch or maintaining mission-critical legacy applications.At Libertrium, I am currently responsible for two high-impact engineering domains: AI Engineering (Greenfield): I am developing the end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline for the new company-wide AI chatbot. This involves the full ETL process: data ingestion from object storage (S3/Spaces), vectorization (FAISS), and building the semantic query chain using LangChain and NestJS. Legacy System Maintenance (Brownfield): I am a core maintainer for the "Associativismo" platform, a mission-critical full-stack system (Angular/NestJS) with a codebase. Following the departure of the original developer, my role involves navigating the complex, minimally-documented system, performing deep-level debugging ("root cause analysis"), and safely architecting and implementing new features.This dual experience allows me to apply modern, clean architecture principles while also understanding the pragmatic reality of supporting large-scale, established products.Key Areas of Expertise: Backend & AI (Node.js): Proficient in building API services with NestJS and TypeScript. Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end RAG pipelines (ETL, vector indexing, LangChain) and maintaining large-scale (500k+ LoC) legacy backends. Distributed Systems & Monitoring: Experience in building and deploying real-time monitoring systems (Ping Pulse). Skilled in using Prometheus and Grafana for observability, Docker Compose for containerization, and WebSockets for real-time data flow. Database Management (SQL & NoSQL): Strong capabilities in data modeling for both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Experience optimizing queries, including MongoDB Aggregation Pipelines. Engineering Principles: Deep commitment to Clean Architecture principles (applied pragmatically) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Enterprise Development (Java)- In-Progress: Actively expanding my backend expertise into the Java Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security) to build robust, enterprise-grade applications.
