I don’t see myself as an expert—I see myself as a student. With nearly two decades in industrial safety, I’ve learned that curiosity, humility, and a willingness to listen are some of the most powerful tools we have. Whether I’m auditing a site in Brazil, walking through a grain terminal in Canada, or discussing equipment with a colleague in Germany, I’m constantly learning—especially from those who explain things simply and clearly. As an industrial engineer and Global Head of Safety, I specialize in catastrophic risk management and dust explosion auditing. But beyond the technical frameworks and ISO standards, what drives me is the connection between theory and practice—how ideas translate into safer, smarter operations on the ground. I read, I listen, I ask questions. Books, podcasts, articles all help—but it’s often the conversations with peers, operators, and engineers that teach me the most. I believe in sharing what I know openly and humbly, connecting concepts in ways that help others see how everything fits together—because in safety, everything is connected.
