About Emely Melling
Emely Melling received her LL.B. law degree in Honduras. She earned a Master of Election Law in Mexico and an LL.M.(Master of Laws) at BYU Law School in the United States. Emely ran for political office, was elected, and served a four-year term as City Councilwoman for her hometown, La Ceiba, Honduras. After her graduation from BYU Law School, she worked on several externships. Currently, Emely is an advanced-standing Juris Doctor Candidate. She serves as J. Reuben Clark Law Society (JRCLS) Area Chair for Central America. Emely enjoys classical ballet, coloring, and mindfulness.
