About Emer Oshea

I currently work as the Production Executive for Element Pictures and over 20 subsidiary production entities. I am responsible for the coordination of Element’s film and television projects through their prep, production and post-production phases. I have completed applications and facilitated in Element’s ability to collect more than €15 million in tax and production incentives in Ireland, the UK, the United States and Canada. I have vast experience and knowledge of the policies and procedures of funding organisations including Screen Ireland, Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, Section 481 Tax Relief, Eurimages co-production support, BFI Film Fund, UK Tax Relief and multiple tax incentives available throughout the United States. I ensure that production partners in Ireland, Europe and the United States adhere to Element Pictures policies and processes and work with the line producers and production office of each project to ensure there a smooth transition between each phase of the production. I have delivered projects to major international studios and sales agents including Hulu, BBC, Searchlight Pictures, Sony Pictures Worldwide, FilmNation Entertainment, A24 Films, Mongrel Media, Protagonist Pictures and HanWay Films. In 2020 I was accepted into the Production Executives branch of the Television Academy. 2020 Irish Film and Television Awards Nominee
