About Emeric Chanhoun

As a Mechanical Engineering Student at University of Ottawa, I am passionate about engineering and innovation. I am pursuing a degree that will equip me with the technical and analytical skills to solve complex and real-world problems. In addition to my studies, I am an Engineering Mentor at uOttawa, where I have the privilege of shaping the future of the engineering profession. I work with a diverse and talented team of mentors who provide guidance, support, and expertise to engineering students from various disciplines and backgrounds. We collaborate with the Faculty of Engineering to design and deliver workshops, events, and resources that enhance the learning and development of the engineering community. Through this role, I have developed and demonstrated skills in leadership, creativity, innovation, and bilingual communications. I have also contributed to the impact and value that the engineering profession can create for society and the environment. I am motivated by the opportunity to learn from and contribute to the engineering profession, and I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to make a positive difference in the world.
