As a Senior Procurement Officer at the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM), I oversee the procurement and supply of goods and services for various emergency response and prevention initiatives. I work with multiple stakeholders, such as suppliers, contractors, and internal customers, to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance.I have been working in the procurement/purchasing field for over five years, starting as a Purchasing Officer at the Department of Health, Tasmania, where I managed the procurement of medical equipment and supplies for public hospitals and clinics. I have developed strong skills in purchasing, procurement, customer relationship management (CRM), and logistics, as well as a keen understanding of the public sector policies and regulations.I am also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business at Swinburne University of Technology, with a focus on strategic management, finance, and accounting. I am passionate about learning new skills and applying them to my work, and I aim to further advance my career in the procurement industry.
