Background

About Emerson Stein

I received my bachelor of science in Public Relations in May 2022 from SUNY Fredonia. I am proficient in writing and using Microsoft Office Suite. I am seeking a future career in the Publishing Industry as a publicity, editing or design manager. I am also an aspiring author. I am flexible, outgoing, and do good on a team. I have acted as a design manager on my school's literary magazine (The Trident), so I am well versed in part of the publishing process. I am interested in the publishing industry because I have a very large passion for writing of any shape and form. I have participated in different parts of the industry throughout college, such as the design team and a mock book publishing process. I would also be interested in the film industry, as my film studies minor has enhanced my look into film from several different perspectives.I am a hard worker and take anything that is thrown at me in stride. I enjoy being able to learn new things no matter how advanced I am in something. I am personable, as well, and take opportunities to build relationships with my teammates whenever possible. I find that dedication to my interests leads me in the right direction considering my career. Having capabilities in my interests leads to a strong willingness to branch out to things that I am unsure about or want to learn more about. Overall, I am looking forward to my future career and hope that I am able to make something of myself with it.
