About Emerson Suarez

I am a civil engineering graduate with about a year of heavy construction experience. I currently work at Lorneville Mechanical Contractor, gaining valuable experience in the oil and natural gas industry as a PC/Field Engineer. I also had a co-op opportunity at Kenaidan Contracting, which enabled me to apply knowledge I obtained from university straight into real-world applications. This experience allowed me to improve my critical thinking skills, as you are given important tasks to complete. I am also a proud small business owner. I currently operate a private barbershop in the heart of the city of Hamilton. Throughout the years, some of the skills I have obtained in this industry are time management, communication, and organization. Some of my proudest achievements running a small business, is being able to pay for my university tuition/expenses through my small business' revenue, and being able to give back to the community such as donating new cleats to kids at the park whenever the opportunity is present. In my free time I love to play piano and guitar. I also enjoy playing sports as I played high level basketball, soccer, and volleyball in highschool. Lastly, I also love to make food vlogs in my sparetime, as I am a certified foodie!
